About me

Born and raised in Milan, Italy, I later spent many years in the vibrant city of London. In 2020, I moved to Sweden, my husband’s home country. We bought a red house in a small village surrounded by wild landscapes and endless forests—a long-time dream of ours. This is where I find much of my artistic inspiration.
I create visual tales across photography, illustration, and surface pattern design. Animals are my dearest companions, and nature is where I feel most at home. Hiking allows me to explore it deeply; photography helps me capture its wildlife and its dreamlike beauty.
I have a special love for botany. I photograph plants and flowers that spark my curiosity, then study, observe, and translate them into detailed illustrations. These pieces form Nordic Botanica—my ongoing visual artistic collection of northern plants, that I create blending some nature accuracy and artistic imagination.
Tales and dreams are another wellspring of inspiration for my creative work. I see every artwork as a little story: a creature met on a trail, a leaf noticed at dusk, a dream that lingered until morning. Whether through a photograph, an illustration, or a pattern, each piece is a tale waiting to be discovered. After all, stories nourish us. We always need good ones!
I love working both traditionally and digitally, and I enjoy exploring how these approaches can complement each other. All my artworks are available for licensing, and I am always delighted to work on commissions to bring your ideas to life.
