“Lily & the Forest” is an ongoing narrative illustration collection that follows Lily, a quiet, intuitive girl who dwells within an ancient woodland. Gifted with both artistic talent and mysterious healing powers, Lily acts as a fierce guardian of the forest’s delicate ecosystem. She sketches, photographs, and documents the forest’s hidden stories—but she also intervenes when its creatures are in need, tending to injured animals, offering her own lifeforce to revive the land, small rituals that build a mythology of gentle stewardship.
Through a detailed, atmospheric linework, a muted earth-tone palette, and a mix of naturalistic and slightly surreal elements, I aim for a storybook-like style. A blend of woodland fairytale, gentle dark fantasy, and vintage naturalist illustration.
